July 2017 Semester: End Week Seven

Here we are at the mid-point for my semester.  I have been super busy an can honestly say that I am caught up on the homework at this point; however, not on the reading. It will be a short introduction this week since we have a fair bit of ground to cover.

Let's get started.

Weekly Rundown
  1. Accounting of my reading.  Keep in mind that I must read at least 13 pages per day, for a total of 91 pages per week.
  2. I will show my grades in my classes as I have them.
  3. I will post the past week’s schedule so that you know where I stand thus far. Keep in mind that if the item is in green then it is complete.  If the item is blue then it is as complete as I am able to finish.
  4. I will post the current week’s schedule so that you know what I’m faced with.

My reading has been atrocious. I hope to get back on top of it in the coming days. I have only read 15% of the total needed for the semester.  If my reading were up today then I would have read 58%.  This is most definitely an area that must be improved.  

My grades have changed considerably since I last posted. Please keep in mind that my midterm grades are tentative. This is only part of the grade.  They will be updated once the complete exam is graded.

The grades are on the way up. I have turned in several other assignments and just waiting on the grades to post. Next up, we will look at the weeks past and the future week to come.

July 2017 Semester: End Week Two

Welcome to the end of the 2nd week of my July classes.  I was working on homework last week and the time got away from me, therefore there was no post.  I am trying to get back into the swing of things by posting every week in order to keep myself accountable. Seems fitting since I am studying to become an accountant.

My reading definitely can be improved.  I have today to make a dent in what it due for week two and then on to week three.  Overall for the semester, I have read 7% of the required reading.  If all of the reading had been complete, then i would have read 17% of what is required so far. Something to strive for next week and every week after.

The first written assignments were due this week for both classes.  Therefore by next week, one might see that my scores have risen a bit, but we shall see.

Well that is how things are going next up are this week schedule and next weeks. I completed everything in Week One. I am happy to report that Week 2 is complete as well. Week 3 is rather small in comparison.  I must concentrate on catching up on the reading. I have 5 chapters in Auditing to read before week 4 is over and four chapter to read in Advanced before week four is over.  That does not include discussion forums, case study, and written assignments.
