Week 12 of January 2017 Semester

Tomorrow is the last day for all assignments to be turned in. I am happy to report that I just finished turning in all assignments.  I took my final for Advanced Accounting II earlier today. And I just turned in my Final Project for Strategic Marketing a few minutes ago.  I now have to wait for my final grades to see how the chips fall.

I have a feeling of accomplishment. I may not receive the highest grades but I did work my tail off this semester. I will now get one week off before the next semester starts.  

I don't really have a schedule to offer. Everything is done and turned in.  

The reading list is a moot point since everything is done.  I did not get all of the reading done for either class. I did start off great but slacked off in the middle. Note to self: do more reading next semester.  (Internet world, keep me in check please)

So I will post my current grades. 

Once I receive the final grades for the finals, I will post and let everyone know how I fared.

Just to update, I currently have a C- in this class without the final project. Depending on how high my grade is, I have a small chance of getting a A but most likely will receive a B. I will take either. This means that I should not have to take this class again.

Without the Final Exam, I have an F; however, if I can score a 56 on the exam, then I can pass the class with a C.  If I don't score that high then I will have to retake this class at a later date.

Week 11/12 of January 2017 Term, Final days of the semester!!!!

Hello and Welcome to the last week of my current semester.  I know I am a bit late but this weekend was spent catching up in both classes. I can honestly say that I am caught up in both of my classes.

I currently only have two items left on my list to complete.  The final in Advanced Accounting II and the Final Project in Marketing.

I have worked my tail off this semester. I still do need to read four chapters before the final on Saturday and the final project is 14-20 pages long. Yikes!!!

I'm fairly certain that I will not be able to achieve a B in accounting but I'm going to try. It will be dependent upon the final grade.  And I have to do extremely well which is unlikely since I do not test well. I am not doubting myself; however, I know my limits.  I should be able to achieve a B in Marketing unless I really mess up on the Final Project.

I just turned in my last case study. This one was on Starbucks.

How about we get started with the weekly rundown.

Here is the list again:

1. Accounting of my reading. Keep in mind that I must read at least 9 pages per day, for a total of 63 pages per week. 
2. I have started getting some grades toward my classes, so I will post them. 
3. I will post the past few week's schedule so that you know where I stand thus far. Keep in mind that if the item is in green then it is complete.

This will finally change as I attempt to catch up on some of the reading. My goal is to at least finish the last four chapters of Accounting.  The other chapters in Marketing may never get read.  Hopefully, next semester I will do better on both fronts and not allow myself to get bogged down.
